Hi Codrut,

As usual I will watch the videos at least twice… Great video there once again. After this, some newbie might make their first sale and some might not.. why do I say that, some people will take action straight away and some might not…

In order to start making your first sale, remember.. take action now! One more thing that I want to tell you all is do not give up trying until you get your first sale and subsequently the next sale will be much easier:)

Hi Codrut,
really enjoyed the vids. Spent some time this morning checking out forums. But all that I looked at seemed to have in their rules: users must not promote business or post advertisements or comments of a commercial nature.
Is that common or was I just unlucky with my choice of niche and topic? (which was herbs as I have written a herbs tips book that I’m trying to promote)
Do others have reported similar problems?
thanks
m

Hi Macalla,

I too have run into the same problems with not finding any forums that will allow me to post a sig file. This is extremely frustrating. So far it seems only a few forums allow links of this nature. I know the sub niche I chose is popular because of all the forums and postings.

However, they won’t allow anyone to post any helpful links to these posters.

Ok does anyone have any suggestions or another way we can get our first sale in 72 with this issue facing us?

BJ

Hi Macala and BJ, please be specific, where exacty they don’t allow you to put links.

And also, what sub-niche did you pick so far?

Most if not all forums don’t allow links directly into the forum posting itself, but they allow it inside the signature file.

Unless you show me a real example and talk specifics, I won’t be able to help.

Codrut Turcanu.

I watched all 3 videos. and they fit together nicely. But I had to go back and re-view the first 2 after watching the 3rd because I kind of forgot where you left off. So my suggestion? Quickly recap, at the end of the 3rd video, your major points from all 3 videos. Just a quick major point recap to refresh our memories and get us going. Overall, though, I thought you did an excellent job.

Hi Codrut,
Here are the answers to your questions: I did send you a PM though with this.

“what sub-niche did you pick so far?” Relationships/Dating

“Most if not all forums don’t allow links directly into the forum posting itself, but they allow it inside the signature file.”

The problem I ran into was that they did not allow any links in your signature file.

As I said I did send you a detailed PM so I hope to hear from you with a possible solutions.

Thank you,
BJ

BJ, got no p.m. from you, sincerely.

Try finding forums which allow sig files, can’t believe you did not find any.

All the niches and sub-niches have forums which allow sig files with one url back to your web site or affiliate link.

You need to find them, that’s the secret.

Did you use the right search formular as I teach in the video?

Stay tuned for $30 in 20 days coaching program.

Hi Codrut,

Yes I absolutely followed your search formula. That was the entire issue, everytime I read the forum posting rules each and everyone in that genre specified that I was not allowed to have any url or affiliate link in my sig file whaich I thought was very strange, since everything you were showing us had allowed at least that per their rules.

I spent almost two hours searching. I will gladly try again, because I see a need for my product I am just mystified as to how to let the forum people know without breaking the rules.

Sincerly, BJ

BJ, please move forward, continue with the research.

There are a ton of forums in dating/relationship that allow sig files with links, sincerely.

You’ll only fail when you give up.

So, what did you chose?

Hello Everyone!
Okay, well after spending a few days searching for forums that allowed a sig file with a link, what I came up with was the following: ”

After you have registered, you may set your signature. This is a piece of text that you would like to be inserted at the end of all your posts, a little like having headed note paper.

If the administrator has enabled signatures, then you will have the option to include your signature on any posts you make. If you have specified a signature, then the board will automatically append your signature to any messages you post. You can disable signatures on a per-post basis by un-ticking the ‘Show Signature’ checkbox when you compose your message.”

I also found this somewhere hidden in the User Policy:
“Do not post off-topic information or use this site as median for advertising your product, business or site(s), etc.”

So I am going to take this as though I am allowed to post a link in my sig file as it does not say I cannot, just not in the body of my post. Any thoughts on this?
Thank you,
BJ

Hi BJ, you could say that about their policy…

The best way is to do a quick browse and see
if the other members use any SIG file at all.

If some of them do, then it means they’re allowed, aren’t they?

At least, that’s what logic says…

Do more research and move forward.

Stay tuned for the upcoming 20-day coaching program! :)

And keep the questions coming - feel free to e-mail me too.

Hey Codrut,

Well that is how I knew I was in trouble in the first place not one sig file on the other posts on any of the 25 forums I looked had any type of link, I know that has to be unusual.

I did see something interesting though, on a few post I saw people refer to “this” or “that” hich was hyperlinked to their site or a site they were referring to.

So I guess I could do the same, this way I am not breaking any rules, written or unwritten.

Thanks BJ

I’d not want to trick forums - you could get banned for ‘life’ by their admins … and have your reputation diminished - even before you start.

Hello

Some forums do not allow sig files enabled until a certain # of posts have been made. Check with the forum administrator

There are some forms that allow only 2 or 3 lines in sig file.

You may have to find more than 3 forums to get it done

Just realize that forum rules are changing due to trying to control spammers

Hope that helps some

You can’t deny it - each forum has its own rules and regulations. I’ve told about this in the videos.

Leo, I did not say to end up your research with your first 3 forums that you find.

Watch the videos again - I’ve said to focus on the top 3 forums, most popular and high-traffic within your sub-niche - they will be used as a traffic promotion source for the 3-day training program.

I’ve noticed there’s a real need to explain the topic in more in depth.

That’s why…

I’ll come up with a groundbreaking guide to explain FORUM marketing extensively. Stay tuned!

Forum rules also seem to vary between market segments. In the ‘home + garden’ section, most forums I’ve found so far do not allow ‘advertising’ in any form. Some specifically and explicitly ban affiliate links.
As Leo pointed out, some only allow sig files after a certain number of posts. To speed things up, I now tend to skim the posts before I even read the Ts & Cs. If no post has a sig line, then there’s a good chance the forum’s not for me.
Maybe I need to change niches, but at the moment I try to persevere with different keywords.
cheers
M

Holy Molly,I just out of curiosity clicked on the top commentators and in the first five all I saw was a promo page on some product or service each one had an interest in. Naive me, I thought all these were relative to Codrut’s program. I’ve lived a long time, but am still learning. CJ

Codrut, Just checked Video 3, and while I await to see if I have a valid signature, I must ask this. I have a “spirituality” domain address, but my signature is relative to my Golf sub niche chosen for this segment of your program. If I go into Google and do the search for spirituality forums and use the Golf signature won’t that be a confusing conflict of interest to visitors? CJ

WOW!

Your PDF report nailed my problems right on the head.
Too many distractions (especially e-mail) and lack of focus. Even though I’ve heard the 80/20 principle many times before, you’ve put it into a perspective that makes sense to me.

I think your PDF report is so valuable, that I’ve printed it out and keep it on my desk to remind me to stay focused.

I really like your idea of the digital countdown timer and voice recorder tool. You’re absolutely right…
TIME is our most precious asset. We must use it wisely.

Thanks for the great info.

#macalla - each fourm in every niche/sub-niche comes with their own rules. Your aim is to find the best ones.

And for the beginning just stick with 3 of them. The most popular and high-traffic that allow SIG files with links in it.

#CJ - that’s funny! :)

Regarding the sig file, I recommend you go with ClickAudit. Watch the videos again … this hides your link, regardless the domain name you’re using.

Anyway, I did NOT recommend you use a domain name yet.

Stick with ClickAudit for now.

#Carl - all you need to do is just apply the principles. I’m glad you liked the PDF :)

Codrut Turcanu.
