Bad News? Mass Control In Action!

by User ImageCodrut Turcanu / Blog for Profit

Just recently Frank Kern (one of the ‘Good’ Gurus) released a crazy VIDEO called The Rubber Neck Effect.

In it he gives various examples of how he almost doubled his e-mail open rate - just by changing the subject line. Yes, it even shows snapshots of his e-mail campaigns. And he explains why doing so you’ll be able to double your income (sales).

its scary Bad News? Mass Control In Action!

That’s common sense, yet most people are not doing it.

Now, what most folks don’t understand (and I see a real danger here) is that what Frank just presented is a (long-term) strategy.

But most folks will use this as a (short-term) TACTIC and I hate to say it, but it’s going to get ineffective.

Why? Simply because folks who are not used to think with their own brains are just going to take this strategy as a tactic. They’re going to just cut & paste the MOST EFFICIENT subject line of all times (more about this in a minute) in their autoresponder and hope to double their income.

And they’ll think this will work over and over again. What poor thinking..

Hm.. I wonder how everybody else inbox will look like with a dozen of “bad news…” subject lines.

Yes, that’s the most-effective subject line in Frank’s e-mail campaigns which doubled his OPEN RATE.

Just think about it. If everybody and their dog would use this in whatever niche they’re into, the rest of the Internet users will wonder what went wrong. Why everybody is using the same subject lines.

They’ll think there’s a BIG conspiracy or someone got crazy over this mailing thing.

I don’t know what would happen next. However, when I see these types of good stuff VIDEOS and marketing strategies in effect, I always know that some folks would just scroll it up BIG time.

What do you think about this, what’s your feedback?

Cheers,

Hi Codrut Turcanu!
Frank Kern is a very immediate man and the same time
He has been striking an individuality . Therefore thisis a man
very easy and simplly working. Today I was writing a liiitle an article in MassControl. If to tell a simple , then I was craying to scarf and telling that I have been a bad luck;somehow I have is a “spark divine” - as a talent to write, but a practical realize is zero, but if would We are working to common by tandem, then
We will be to have doth is double success. I thinking that He has been a pity ( good meaning this a word) and shown of the green street for me.

I think the problem is, as you highlighted, a person reveals the methods they are using and a hundred copycats follow suit. Problem with this is the ‘tactic’ soon stops working because people cotton on to a ‘tactic’ pretty quickly

#Niche: ha, ha.. if you’re smart enough you could use a tactic and turn it into something hard to copycat.. always an extra bonus or extra something does more than what your competitors could offer, period.
