For Affiliates Only: What Keeps You Awake at Night?

December 21st, 2009 · 24 Comments · Other Topics

It’s 10 past midnight here in Romania,so you know I don’t have time for playing… that’s why I’d like your honest opinion about…

WHAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT?

Share your #1 answer with others here… in the comments section.

Let me give you an example first:

What keeps me awake at night at this moment is…

researching how to best help my affiliate marketing students, clients and customers take their business to the next level in 2010 and beyond

Your input will help me define my strategy for this Christmas Eve, Friday, 25, 2009, @ 6:10 a.m. EST, when I’ll be releasing my best affiliate marketing training ever...

P.S. Please, do NOT ask any questions about this, nor its price. We’ll have time to talk about such later on. All I need from you is to tell me what keeps you awake at night!

As a writer, I definitely seldom sleep at night. Beside writing, I’ll do some reading and research what is best I’m to going make money through the Internet. Finally, I think affiliation is the best for me.

What keeps me awake at night? The greed of PPC advertising. Cost per click being thru the roof and having to spend $100 to make $99. Always a losing battle. I have been online trying to make money for a year with very little profit. I have actually sold a lot of stuff but, PPC takes it all. GRRRR!

I have been studying internet marketing for several years but only have a few projects making money. What keeps me awake is 2 things. The first is how to put all the disjointed pieces of knowledge I have together in a coherent way to take projects from the start to the finish. I feel I have all or most all the pieces, but what is #1 then #2, etc. The other thing is, from all the areas where I could spend my time, from affiliate marketing to Adsense sites to many other things, there are so many things I know something about. Where is the most productive (for money) place to spend my time. I feel like I’m good at many things but not a master of one thing.

What keeps me up at night?

Knowing damn well I’m smart enough to earn a living online.

But not having enough money at the end of the bills to get the knowledge I need to accomplish what I know I can do.

What keeps me awake at night? Thinking, learning, implementing about how to make money fast to pay back the big loans, buy all those wonderful courses online to better myself, to help my family and finally to replace by 10 yr old slow PC.

Nothing keeps me awake at night. I work hard during the day juggling running a home and being online then I sleep like a log!

By the way Codrut. Friday 25th is Christmas Day not Eve. Surely you are not going to be working then?

Watching my redundancy cash running out slowly as I deperately try to learn enough to make money in IM….all the while looking over my shoulder thinking “should I just jack it in and go back to working for someone else?” :)

How to make minimum 3 sales every single day at 3 Times the ROI, thats the thought that keeps me awake thru-out the day, not just at night b4 bedtime. Blogging about it helps keep the mind clean i guess. How to keep the traffic coming and the value building, thru non stop content activities.

What keeps me awake at night? Well, I’ve been refused by Google Adsense yesterday. Wondering what should I do with my blogspot.

Well 1st-ly my night janitor/cleaning accounts keep me awake at night ( ahem ) but as I become more engrossed in authoring my blog and optimizing for it to become a “known entity on the net” – I have to say it’s keywords… fundamental keyword choices are what will get the search industry to connect the dots and guide the wayback ( -linking ) machine to your blogsite.

Writing keyword enriched posts that will still make a contribution keeps me awake – although, after reading some good advice here and elsewhere, I have begun to write more effectively by NOT focusing on getting those keywords just right.

@Martin – don’t even think to “just jack it in” – just jack it up a notch . Just a bit of encouragement… ^V^

I know it’s hard work – but after awhile a certain amount becomes routine and , for me, at least, that makes the “work-at-it” element mo’ bettah to handle. ( pardon my vernaculars )

What keeps me awake at night is the thought of my internet marketing. The use of the internet to promote affiliate product, blogging, article markeking and especially, ppc and seo research work. Working at night to keep the pace is what keeps me up at night. Hope, others too are in the same boat!

What keeps me awake is learning new things about internet marketing. Trying to figure out which are the genuine money making programs and which are pure hype and scams.

I am fiscally spent. Retirement is gone. I need a job and would love to do it working behind my computers. I lose sleep at night worrying about losing everything that my wife and I have worked hard for through the past years. I keep all emails from Codrut and re-read them to learn. One never ceases to learn in their lifetime.
