Most affiliates and online marketers would easily jump on the opportunity to join a membership site where they get hundreds of PLR articles [and other stuff] for a low monthly fee…
But what they don’t understand is that they’re competing with hundreds other PLR article owners, who have the same articles as they do.
What that means is that you have less chances to make more money and get more traffic with the same articles.
And I’m sure we’re on the same path when I admit that most people dislike more competition.
If you’re looking to buy PLR articles on IM topics, here’s what you should do instead :
1. Avoid PLR membership sites with “general” content
You should focus on Internet Marketing PLR articles, and forget about “health”, “debt management” or other topics which are not suitable for your blog.
2. Run from the PLR membership sites with 500+ member “limits”
The more clients compete with you, the less fortunate for you to succeed.
3. Look out [research] for reliable and honest sources of PLR article packs that are low-cost and limit their licenses to 100 clients or less.
Here’s why you should look up for quantity limited PLR article packs instead of joining membership sites with 300 or 500 members.
Because you want to keep cost low and get a higher ROI, plus, it keeps competition at minimum.

These are very important points Codrut. I don’t remember the website but I recently saw a site that will only sell 30 copies of the article and will then cancel the opportunity to buy more. Unfortunately, and I may be too skeptical here but those people probably sell the article off to someone else that just broadcasts the txt file for free. The best thing to do always is to write your own content, paraphrase the content or use some article spinner software to change them up. Recently I read that the duplicate content penalty is not as bad as some portray. Of course it is always best to have unique content.

duplicate content is not what most people think it is. ask Google, and they’ll tell you the truth.
Writing your own stuff is good, just that it takes time. With PLR articles, you’re actually buying more time and expertise for the right money

Although I did not use PLR stuff for a long time I have been using it more recently. I have found it useful for ideas for articles and blog posts. I have used info from maybe 4 or 5 PLR articles to write one good article.
